Service Description

This focus group is on Wednesday 27th July, 2pm-4pm at Revitalise Studios in Topsham. I have funding to cover the venue hire and facilitators - however a small donation to cover resources has been added. The resource is aimed at 6-9yr olds. It is for the development of a 10 week scheme of work based on songwriting, composing and improvising which has been commissioned by The South Coast Alliance (Music Hubs) and will reach over 5 music hub areas including Southampton, IOW, Bournemouth, Poole, Portsmouth and Dorset . The children will try out some of the activities and feedback on how user friendly the activities are, what went well, what they liked, what they didn't which will all be evaluated and used for the development of the resource. The long-term outcome will be a Big Dreams Ambassador Club - this will give the tools for children to run their own lunchtime Songwriting Clubs within their schools.
